Scott Axtell ’03, Russell, was sworn in as Russell County undersheriff.    

Marlene Barajas ’22, Dodge City, was awarded the Kansas Exemplary Educators Network’s Horizon award.  

Raymond “Ray” Bergmeier ’05, Hays, was promoted to Sunflower Electric Power Corporation’s senior manager of transmission policy and electric reliability corporation compliance.    

Shane Britt ’19, Mankato, was awarded NCK Tech’s 2024 212° award.  

Alex Broadway ’17, ’20, Hays, was promoted to Hays Police Department patrol corporal. 

Eric Brown ’05, Salina, was hired as Hutton Builds’ Northern Kansas business development manager.

Tasha (Richmeier) Eichman ’12, Plainville, received Vyve Broadband’s Rising Star award. 

Gretchen (Money) Elliott ’14, Lindsborg, was announced as a 2024 Kansas Regional Teacher of the Year.    

John “JB” Elliott ’01, Perry, was hired as USD 250 Public School superintendent.     

Dillion “DJ” Engle ’20, Milwaukee, Wis., was announced as the Wichita Wind Surge pitching coach. 

Anne (Legleiter) Erbert ’07, Hays, was promoted to manager of member solutions with Sunflower Electric Power Corporation.   

Brock Funke ’10, Washington, was hired as Great Bend High School principal.   

John Godfrey ’09, ’09, Shawnee, was hired by Governor Kelly as the Kansas State Chief Information Security Officer.    

Hugo Gonzalez ’10, Hoisington, was hired as Great Bend High School’s career technical education teacher.  

Lexi Gross ’21, Overland Park, was hired as a stadium content assistant with Sporting KC.    

Megan Hagaman ’16, Salina, was hired as the Kansas State High School Activities Association’s assistant executive director.  

Jordan Hammack ’22, ’23, Russell, was hired as a USD 392 teacher in Osborne.

Gunner Helton ’17, Claflin, was sworn in as a new Kansas Wildlife and Parks game warden. 

Robynn (Stewart) Hickert ’03, Hays, was hired as a customer service representative with Insurance Planning, Inc.    

Hannah Jurgens ’18, ’18, Sparks, Nev., was honored as one of Nevada Sports Net’s most influential female coaches, athletes, or administrators in Northern Nevada.  

Rachel (Bergman) Kraus ’10, Hays, was recognized for ten years of service as a dispatcher.    

Aaron Ladd ’09, Hays, was announced as a new United Way of Ellis County board member.  

Matthew Luder ’20, Russell, was hired as a new Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks game warden.     

Sheila (Miller) Meggers ’15, Hutchinson, was hired as USD 450’s superintendent.    

Chase Meitler ’19, Arvada, was hired as a regional plan consultant with Retirement Advantage, Inc.    

Summer (Karl) Moeckel ’04, ’05, Eudora, was hired as Deerfield Elementary School’s new principal. 

Lindsey Murphy ’12, Portis, was promoted to lieutenant with the Kansas Highway Patrol.   

Hunter Nail ’15, Victoria, was hired as Benedictine College’s women’s head soccer coach.     

Kenadee O’Brien ’23, Dighton, was hired as a Fort Hays State University human resource specialist. 

Christien Ozores ’20, Russell, was hired as Salina South High School’s new head football coach.  

Gloria Park ’15, Manhattan, was hired as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with Riley Family Physicians.     

Nathan Purdue ’16, ’16, was hired as the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science’s mental health counselor and success coach.      

Jaden Rahe ’22, Hays, was hired as Fort Hays State University’s director of student engagement.   

Teal (Landon) Sander ’04, ’05, Gorham, joined HaysMed’s Dreiling/Schmidt Cancer Institute.   

Branson Sandoval ’21, Hays, was honored with Hays Med’s Daisy Award. 

Brent Schulte ’11, Hays, received the Grow Hays’ Robert E Schmidt Entrepreneur of the Year award.
