Traditions and History
Fort Hays State University has a rich history filled with strong traditions.
Some traditions, like freshmen wearing beanies, disappear over time. Other traditions, like the Homecoming bonfire, are celebrated each year.
The Fort Hays State yearbook, The Reveille, showcases these traditions from the 1910s until the early 2000s.
