Claire Mullen ’15

I was born and raised in Hays, KS and now currently live in Salina, KS. I met my husband (Tobey Mullen) while he was attending FHSU too! We have one son, Greyson!

What do you now do for a living? How did you end up choosing this career path?
I am the Executive Director for the Salina Area United Way. I believe being involved in your community is so important and my role as ED at SAUW has really helped me to see what the needs of my community are and work to help improve them.

Why did you choose to attend FHSU?
Great school with great teachers, awesome education for a reasonable price, and able to stay close to family and friends.

What advice do you have for current or prospective FHSU students?
It is okay to not have it all figured out right away! Just get involved and enjoy your time because it flies by.
