Matthew Erbert ’15

I am a native of Ellis, KS and December 2015 grad of FHSU. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance (Banking).

What do you now do for a living? How did you end up choosing this career path? I am a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer at Bank of Hays in Hays, KS. I wanted to work with local business people and farmers to fulfill their lending needs. My grandparents both worked for financial institutions so I followed in their shoes.

Why did you choose to attend FHSU? I wanted to play football for Coach Chris Brown and get a great education and stay close to home.

What are your favorite memories from your time as a student? As a member of the FHSU Football Team, playing in the Mineral Water Bowl in 2015.
