Tell us about yourself:
I graduated from FHSU in 2019. I then began teaching and coaching at USD 313 Buhler. When I am not teaching and coaching, I love to spend time with my friends and family, and my Fiancé, Madison.
What do you now do for a living? How did you end up choosing this career path?
I am a 6-12 PE Teacher at Buhler Schools. I also am a Girls and Boys Golf Coach and a Girls Basketball Coach. I was raised in a household with two educators and saw the impact they made in countless lives.
Why did you choose to attend FHSU?
I was drawn to FHSU because both my parents went there. FHSU has an incredible family atmosphere. Everyone was so welcoming. Becoming a Tiger was one of my best decisions.
What are your favorite memories from your time as a student?
Spending time with my friends that I made at FHSU.
What advice do you have for current or prospective FHSU students?
Gamble on yourself. You can do anything you set your mind to as long as you give 100% all the time.
Tell us about someone at FHSU who has left a lasting impression:
Dr. Joyce Ellis and Dr. Steven Sedbrook. They were both professors while I was at FHSU. They instilled the importance of a quality Physical Education teacher, but more importantly they wanted us to be better people. They genuinely care for all of us students. Those are two of the best representations of what it means to be a Tiger. Two of my all-time favorite people.
In what ways are you proud to be a Tiger?
I am proud to be a Tiger because now I am forever part of the FHSU family. I take pride in representing FHSU everyday. FHSU stands for the right things, and I am proud to be part of it.
