John Ganser ’76

I have been teaching and coaching for 41 years at Sidney High School. I retired in the spring of 2018. It has been a very rewarding career.

What do you now do for a living? How did you end up choosing this career path? Staying involved in athletics is something I have always wanted to do. Staying actively engaged in the lives of young people became very important to me.

What advice do you have for current or prospective FHSU students? Never stop growing and learning.

Tell us about someone at FHSU who has left a lasting impression: As a classmate of mine, Danny Boyce gave me a lot of self-confidence and I always admired his competitiveness.
