Cole Reif ’08

I graduated from Fort Hays State in 2008. From there I worked at Eagle Communications in Hays for four years, WBBB Radio in Raleigh, North Carolina for a year, and now at Eagle Communications in Great Bend for four years.

What do you now do for a living? How did you end up choosing this career path?
Sportscaster, play-by-play announcer. I love the thrill of being able to describe something completely different than anyone else. To a tell a story that no one else will tell like me.

What are your favorite memories from your time as a student?
Working on projects at the old Heather Hall late at night.

What advice do you have for current or prospective FHSU students?
Soak up as much as possible, be teachable, take criticism, ask questions.

Great campus and institution for learning
