Pilot Award Nominations

The Pilot Award, established in 1974, serves as a significant honor among teaching faculty. Graduating undergrad and graduate students are given an opportunity to express personal recognition and gratitude to those who commit themselves as educators, counselors, and friends.  View past recipients

Nominations must be submitted no later than Monday, February 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Eligible nominees will be contacted by email to complete the next steps of the award process. Only those nominees who complete all requested steps in the selection process will be considered eligible.

Recipients of the 2026 awards will be announced at a recognition celebration on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 9:00 AM in the Peter Werth Black and Gold Room in the FHSU Memorial Union.
